Canmore Downtown Business Association (BRZ) is holding a Street
Fair through the summer months, the street fair will have a
plethora of vendors and activities. Enjoy a stroll down Main Street
for some fantastic entertainment.
Rolling Sculpture Show & Shine
June 20, 2010
Canmore’s Centennial Park features classic and vintage cars
that were manufactured before 1979 for the Annual Father’s
Day Car show. Some features include American muscle cars, pre war,
European and British makes.
Canada Day Parade and Celebration
July 1, 2010
These festivities celebrate the special joy of being Canadian.
Locals line up early for the pancake breakfast that starts at 7:30
AM. Main Street is jammed with people who come from all over
southern Alberta to view the parade. Truly spending our national
day in beautiful Canmore is a pleasure that should not be
missed.
Canmore Triathlon

Kananaskis' Annual Parks Celebration
July 18, 2010
Come out to Kananaskis' annual Parks Day celebration starting
from 10am to 3pm at Willow Rock campground. Learn about bear
monitoring, mountain rescues, commercial filming and many more.
Entertainment including horse rides, wagon rides, outdoor games etc
will be offered. A hands-on event fun for the whole family.
Canmore Miners’ Day
July 2010
A dedicated event for the ex-miners and their families of Canmore
to commemorate the history of Canmore’s coal mines with
parades, speeches and a special lunch.
24Hrs of Adrenalin
July 24 - 25, 2010
24 Hours of Adrenalin is the fastest growing mountain bike event
series in North America, and it comes to Canmore as a spectacular
annual event. The sporting part of 24 Hours of Adrenaline revolves
around a massive relay, where solo riders or teams of up to ten
people compete to ride as many laps as possible in a 24-Hour time
frame.
Canmore Folk Music Festival
July 31 – August 2, 2010
Alberta's oldest folk music festival offers a weekend filled
with afternoon workshops, craft and food booths, an extensive
family area and a stellar line-up of evening concerts all taking
place in Canmore's Centennial Park.

racers participating. A great way to help raise funds for CAUSE
Canada (Christian Assistance for Underdeveloped Societies
Everywhere).
Terry Fox Run
Mid-September
Help raise funds to combat cancer by taking part in Canmore’s
Terry Fox Run and part of Terry’s legacy. Enjoy a day in the
mountains, run lengths from 1k to 10km including the Expectant
Mothers Walk, a Children’s Walk, A puppy Walk and the 10km
run.
Quilt Festival and Tea
October 2010
This celebrates the Mountain Cabin Quilters' Guild of Canmore.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children (7-14 years of age) and
free for kids 6 and under. The exhibition features a merchant mall,
quilt raffle, door prizes, and presentations of donations to local
charities.
Vic Lewis Band Festival
November 5 – 7, 2010
Canmore welcomes hundreds of young musicians to this annual,
non-competitive festival to honour the musician who introduced band
music to Bow Valley students in the 1940s. Enjoy an evening concert
by some of the finest school bands in Alberta.
